Stop at the Maconde rock

The Macondé Point is part of one of the most scenic route of Mauritius.

Situated between Le Morne and Baie du Cap, visiting and climbing on the Maconde Rock is a MUST do activity. The viewpoint offers a magnificent view of the Macondé Rock, with the Savanne Mountain Range in the background

Drive through Le Morne village

Drive through the fishing village of Le Morne while admiring the beautiful south coast. Feel the traquility of this peaceful village where time seems have slowed down considerably

Stop at the Natural bridge

The natural bridge is located in Grand Port, near the village of Carreau d'Accacia and not far from Mahebourg village It is a natural bridge build from erosion and although access to this area can be very tricky due to its bad road conditions, it is still a favourite among tourists

After your bumpy ride to the Natural Bridge, you will have the chance to walk on the natural bridge although great care should be taken due to the slippery and windy conditions in that region A perfect stop for photo shoot sessions with the amazing backdrop of waves crushing against the cliffs

Visit Blue Bay

Located in the south-east of the island, Blue Bay was declared a national park in 1997 before being designated as a wetland site under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of International Importance in 2008.

Blue Bay is one of the best places to see the beautiful marine life and to go for snorkeling in Mauritius Feast your eyes on the 50 or so coral species and the wide variety of fish species in the park among which are the Surgeon fish, the butterfly fish and the Damesel fish

Visit the Manioc Biscuit factory

In 1870 the Rault family started producing manioc biscuits at its little biscuit factory and the recipe of it's famous manioc biscuits have been passed from generation to generation.

The crispy square cookies are made almost entirely by hand using a secret recipe and baked on hotplates over stoves fuelled with dried sugar-cane leaves

Visit Mahebourg museum

Located at the entrance of Mahebourg village, the Naval Museum was inaugurated sometime around 1950. The museum captures the hardships of sea battles with several naval war items on display.

Discover wreckage of sailing ships that took part in the Grand Port battle, original cannon, cannonball, paintings and swords and weaponry of Robert Surcouf, the eighteenth-century corsair
